GamCom was founded in 1997. From the beginning, the commitment has been to quality, flexibility, and achieving value-orientated solutions for clients.
With over 70 years practical and highly relevant experience between them, the founders continue to play pivotal roles as directors.
GamCom leadership is characterised by professionalism, stability, technical expertise, and experience. This combination lies behind the close and successful working relationships established with clients, such as Unisys and the Nationwide Building Society.
Below are brief profiles of the people who have led us to work with world-leading companies across the UK and abroad.
Keith Rosling - Chairman
- B.A. Honours in Economic History (Exeter University - 1970)
- Keith joined GamCom as Chairman of the Board of Directors in July 2006.
- Keith spent 35 years with Unisys, a global IT products and services company. At Unisys, he performed a number of key management roles across various geographies including USA, Continental Europe, South Africa, India and the UK.
- He has considerable experience in the areas of Business Development and Professional Services, especially in the Financial Service Sector.
- At GamCom, he is instrumental in formulating and implementing our business strategy, including our offshore operation.
Govind Gami - Managing Director
- B.Sc. (Hon.) Computer Engineering (City University, London - 1980) Chartered Engineer (C. Eng.)
- Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineer, Controls & Computer Division (MIEE).
- Over 27 years of varied IT experience. Has worked for companies including: Kodak, Honeywell (UK & Saudi Arabia) and Bemas.
- Joint founder and director of GamCom. Responsibilities include: standards, methods, processes, recruitment, sales and marketing, and account management.
Lalji Gami - Director
- B.Sc. (Hon.) Mathematics and Physics (London University, 1981).
- Over 26 years of varied IT experience. Has worked for companies including: Crown Suppliers, Unisys, Bass Taverns, Nationwide Building Society, British Alcan, National Provident.
- Joint founder and director of GamCom. Responsibilities include: formulation and implementation of technical research and development strategies, financial management, project and account management.
- Strong technical and programme management skills covering a broad range of disciplines. Ability to liaise with board level management, business users, and members of the technical team to deliver solutions.
- Has in-depth experience of the development process, including a very good technical understanding of the challenges faced by the development team, and the management and resolution of issues.
Raj Gami - Director
- B.Sc. (Hon.) Computer Science (City University, London - 1986).
- Over 20 years of varied IT experience. Has worked for companies including: BT, CAP, Northern Telecom, DEC, Sema Group, Prudential, and Equitas.
- Joint founder and technical director of GamCom. Responsibilities include: formulation and implementation of technical research and development strategies, sales and marketing, project and account management.
- Started as a programmer and progressed through ranks to Solution Architect / Project Manager. Possess excellent technical skills and able to present technical architectures and solutions at board level.
